From: USA, Arizona, Phoenix area

Description: We are a small, home-based cattery located in the Phoenix Metropolitan Area in Arizona, USA. Our cattery is registered with and approved by Cat Fanciers Association, Inc. (CFA). We have been showing and breeding Japanese Bobtails (JBTs) since 2000. Our JBTs live with us, sleep with us and play with us. We do not cage our Living Treasures. All of our cats are indoors-only members of our family. All of our breeding cats come from Grand champion, Regional, National and Breed Winning lines. Our foundation cats also achieved the titles of Distinguished Merit Cats (the highest title in CFA). We strive to breed our kittens for strong health, great purrsonalities and strict conformation to CFA's standards. Our cats are found in Show Halls and Breeding Programs around the World. We are very proud of our Breeding Program, and our cats' accomplishments throughout the years.

From: USA, California, Los Angeles

Description: We are a small cattery that only raises a few litters a year, and are dedicated to raising healthy, well socialized, happy kittens that are as close to the breed standard as possible. Janipurr Japanese Bobtails has bred and loved Japanese bobtails since 1990. All colors and patterns are bred, but we specialize in smokes and silvers. Bobtails are a semi-foreign, short tailed breed known all over Southeast Asia, but especially Japan. Their personalities are active, inquisitive, and fearless. People who acquire their first bobtail often wonder later how they ever lived without them!

From: USA, Washington, Tacoma area

Description: I started showing cats in February, 1976, with a household pet I adopted from the Yolo County Animal Shelter in Woodland, California. Through my participation in the shows, I met many wonderful people and learned about the cat fancy and pedigreed cats. Kenipurr cattery was first registered in CFA in September, 1979, then later in ACFA and TICA. I began in Sunnyvale, California, then moved to the Puget Sound area of Washington state in 1983. I live near Tacoma, WA. Through the cat shows, I became interested in the Japanese Bobtails, and received my first shorthaired Japanese Bobtail, GrPr Kurisumasu Jin of Kenipurr, in September of 1996. I am a member of the CFA Japanese Bobtail breed council. I am also a member of the Japanese Bobtail Breeders Society, Japanese Bobtail Fanciers, and the Longhair Japanese Bobtail Breeders' Club. I am an active member of several show-producing clubs in the upper Northwest, as well as participating in local and National breed rescue.
