I have three Russian Blues. Two males and a female. I find they tend to be extremely independent and like to observe more than participate.
Under certain circumstances, they can be fiercely affectionate. On their terms of course. Mine shed some in the spring as warmer weather nears, but otherwise shed very little.
No aggression. When they've had enough "peopling" they find a quiet place to retreat to.
